Standard Concerts

Please visit our Press/Reviews page for many descriptions of just how enjoyable a "Kim Angelis & Josef" concert can be! Not only is Kim an astounding violin virtuoso, but she is also a very approachable person who introduces each musical number with the story behind the song. Furthermore, Kim is renowned for dancing while playing difficult technical passages! Josef is well-known for perfectly following the violinist's every nuance. An exciting option for our live performances in the Pacific Northwest is the addition of accomplished dancer(s), Jessamyn Grace West and/or Varyin Parham. We have performed at large theaters, small cafes, big outdoor festivals, and intimate art centers. (For venues, please visit our Touring History page for a partial list.)

Community Outreach

Kim Angelis offers a variety of community outreach programs, including the following:  1) Concerts at Assisted Living Centers and Retirement Communities. These one-hour programs can be offered at a very reduced and reasonable rate when coordinated with a concert for the general public.  2) Benefit Concerts. Kim has performed benefit shows for churches, humane societies, and environmental groups. Please inquire!
 3) Violin Workshops. Kim is happy to provide technical pointers to interested violinists of all ages and abilities!  4) School Programs and Assemblies. Kim Angelis has a long history of active participation in Arts in Education. The program is a warm and energetic presentation of gypsy-inspired music for virtuoso violin and accompanying instruments; it’s a great opportunity to introduce professional concert artists into the classroom for the enrichment of all children.
